Helen Braunshteyn, Office Manager
Ms. Braunshteyn has been working as the office manager of Cosmopolitan Dental since its inception in 2006. As the primary patient liaison, Helen's goal is to accommodate the patients in a professional, knowledgeable and personable manner. Helen is a graduate of Hunter college and attained her Bachelor Degree in Psychology. She is keen on ensuring that the office runs in a smooth manner from the front desk as well as "behind the scenes". In her free time Helen enjoys fulfilling her passion as a freelance makeup artist, traveling, working out and exploring new restaurants in New York City.
Ms. Whalen joined the Cosmopolitan Dental team in 2012 as a hygienist and primary preventative health care provider. She is a graduate from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry and is a registered New York State Hygienist. Colleen is committed to providing the best possible dental care to all of our patients through educating them about their oral health as well as aiding them in achieving their premium level of overall oral health. Creating a happy and dazzling smile through preventative care and soft tissue management is her ultimate goal. Colleen has been involved in the dental field for over six years now. Her passion for working in the dental field shows through her personable demeanor, dedication and meticulous work ethic. When not working in the dental office, Colleen enjoys baking and working out during her free time.
Cosmopolitan Dental would like to introduce Ms. Dorrie Miller. Dorrie graduated from the renowned New York University with Honors in Dental Hygiene and a concentration in Education. Throughout her undergraduate studies at NYU, Dorrie worked as a part-time dental assistant and as a gymnastics instructor! Dorrie became fascinated with dentistry at a very young age and has aspirations to one day teach dental hygiene. As part of the Cosmopolitan Dental hygiene and preventative dental team Dorrie is committed to providing the best possible dental care to all of our patients through education and providing a premium level of overall oral health. When she isn't working, Dorrie enjoys spending time with her family and is obsessed with her dog Remy. She also enjoys cake decorating and is currently planning her wedding which will take place in October 2014!
Celeste Romero received her Dental Assistant Training at Hostos College in Bronx, NY. She joined the team in 2009 as a Dental Assistant bringing over 20 years of experience with her. Celeste has a very bubbly and outgoing to personality and is a favorite with the patients. She is very dedicated to her work and serves as a very valuable asset to the practice. In her free time, Celeste enjoys singing, cooking and loves spending time with her 2 daughters.
